A ten-day project at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebaek, Denmark.
A group of young refugees and a group of young Danish Students met over ten days to build bridges and explore collective ideas of Home, Belonging and Coexistence. At the end of the project the group designed a series of makeshift structures as ‘Palaces for the Future’, and took them on a pilgrimage to Humlebaek’s station. Each palace posed a question about the future, that people arriving and leaving Humlebaek were encouraged to answer.
The project was a collaboration between Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Danish Red Cross and Tate, as part of Tate’s BP Art Exchange programme.
